Butchart Gardens
Climb aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned motor-coach for a narrated trip to the extraordinary Butchart Gardens. Departing from the Empress Hotel, you'll view acres of rich farmland along the Saanich Peninsula before arriving at the world-famous gardens. Nothing prepares the eyes, however, for Butchart's fifty-five acres of beauty, architecture, and art. Each season brings its special gifts, whether daffodils, tulips, colorful annuals, or wandering minstrels. You'll have a little over an 1-½ to view the charming Rose Garden, Sunken Garden, Italian or Japanese Garden, or the majestic Ross Fountain. Wherever you choose to wander, Butchart's delights will contribute significantly to your Victoria memories.

New For 2010: It is now possible to extend your stay at the Butchart Gardens during a day trip or an overnight stay. Your tickets can be used for the standard 3 hour tour, or a longer tour. Please speak with one of our reservations agents for details.

Butchart Gardens Shuttle Express
Gray Line of Victoria also offers the no frills "Shuttle Express" from the Victoria Bus Terminal at 700 Douglas Street. It is first come, first served. Journey time to/from the Butchart Gardens is 35 minutes each way. NOTE: This tour cannot be booked through our website at this time. If you are interested in booking this tour, please give us a call at 1-800-443-4552. Tickets may also be purchased at our ticketing window in Bellingham, or on the Victoria Star 2 on the way to Victoria.

Butchart Gardens Evening Tour (4 hours)
On this tour you will have 4 hours to stroll through the world famous Butchart Gardens at twilight and under night illumination. Indirect lighting adds a unique and beautiful effect to the gardens. On Saturdays during July and August there is a spectacular fireworks display choreographed to music. The Butchart Garden Evening Tour is a perfect add-on for any overnight package.

New For 2010: With the purchase of a Butchart Gardens Evening Tour ticket, you may take an outbound trip to the Butchart Gardens during the morning or early afternoon, and return back to the city with the evening return trip. Victoria City Tour
Climb aboard an English double-decker bus for this 90-minute tour of downtown Victoria and the surrounding area. Highlights include the City Center, Chinatown, Antique Row and many other points of interest.
The tour leaves the downtown area to pass through the exclusive Uplands and Oak Bay residential areas filled with beautiful homes on oak-lined streets. On the way back to the harbor you will follow Marine Drive through the Victoria Golf Club and Beacon Hill Park with spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Enjoy "Canada's Best Bloomin' City" and southern Vancouver Island coast with the added bonus of Gray Line's "Hop On Hop Off" service.
Note: this tour leaves from the Royal London Wax Museum, which is just 2 blocks from our downtown Victoria terminal.
